One of the more interesting species of birds in Thailand in my opinion. Very shy but has been seen lately (in early 2009) at Doi Ang Khang and Doi Chiang Dao. However the forest fires (March 2009) has altered their habitat and they are now more difficult to find.

The male is up to 3feet long (92 cm) with the tail being up to 53cm long (that's quite a long tail). The female is smaller with a length of about 60cm.
