The second largest pigeon in Thailand, up to 47 cm.
A lowland bird of the forest. Also found on some islands and mangroves in SW Thailand.
Uncommon throughout Thailand, has been hunted a lot but is now protected by law.
Only found at certain locations in Thailand but common at Huay Kha Kaeng Wildlife Sanctuary.
