I really like the thrushes and the Dark-sided is one of my favorites. Its bill is large with a hook at the end and much bigger than other thrushes. This species likes to visit wet and muddy areas where it dig in the earth in search for food. It's not to difficult to find this resident species in Thailand, if you know where to look. Getting a good picture in natural light is quite a challenge since it moves in dark areas and is very shy.
