:: Pikes Peak ::

It was a beautiful day for a ride up a mountain and today’s mountain was Pikes Peak. It’s 14,110 feet at the summit. The road up to the summit was a mixture of paved road which turned into a dirt road. At some points it turned back into pavement again but then it was back to hairpin turns and dirt road again. It took about 2 hours to ride up with lots of stops along the way for picture taking. The ride back down was a little faster since I could see a storm was starting to brew and I didn’t want to encounter rain on the dirt portion of the drive.
