March 8, 2009: Radio station DZMM's (6:30 mhz) annual event for the environment for the benefit of the La Mesa Watershed and in
particular the replenishment of the mangroves that can help prevent coastal erosion, purify the water, and attract diverse marine life.
Ran in the 5k event representing the handicapped (I seem to be the only one of such who participated?); the Ramon Magsaysay Camera
Club, Inc. (RMCCI) and the soon-to-be launched Camera Club of Valenzuela (CCV)* - the photography groups I'm currently affiliated with.
As in the past years, I was once again graciously 'adopted' by the brewery division of the San Miguel Corporation.
Lugging along a heavy camera was out of the question, so I missed out on interesting photo ops featuring individual runners (or 'crawlers' like
moi?) and the regular participation of Manila Mayor Alfredo "Fred" Lim who this year was joined by Beauty and Wellness Expert Ms. Cory Quirino.
So for this year the gallery will only feature images taken by fellow participants. That means yours truly will for once be part of the subject?!! :-)
