Holy images hold a special place in the home of traditional Roman Catholic families in the Philippines.

The ones shown here are antiques that are over a 100 years old. How significant are they? Believe it or not,
but the space in which this particular family chapel occupies (a whole room set aside for it!) is already 1/4 of the total home area!
The crack on the back wall was caused by the almost daily tremors felt all over Metro Manila in 2006 that started in June of that year.
