Former WW II US army surplus jeep parts, that through the ingenuity of Pinoys were made to evolve into a 'pimped-up' PUV that came to be called the jeepney.

Though unofficially listed as the National Transport, at least THAT's what the common commuter
thinks it is! The cultural icon equivalent of the red double-decker bus in London, it is
followed closely by the kalesa (horse-drawn carriage) or the tricycle, perhaps?
