Grand Marian Procession 2008

Every 1st Sunday of December - the traditional feast of the Immaculate Concepcion (now officially celebrated on the 8th) -
the Grand Marian Festival is celebrated with a religious procession on the historic streets of Intramuros, Manila
featuring various images of the Blessed Virgin Mary from all over the country.

This unique showcase of a Philippine religious devotion is organized annually by the Cofradia de la Inmaculada Concepcion.

We brought along THE National Pilgrim Image with us for the 29th annual Grand Marian Procession. As the group passed by
the Manila Cathedral-Basilica, one of the top 3 adjudged memorable moments as mentioned by blogsters seems to be
