Fernando III of Castilla, called "El Santo", conquered the muslim city
of Jaén in the year 1246,
here it is seen in the center surrounded by some apostles.
The facade of the cathedral is very rich in figures and scenes carved in stone,
And it is not surprising that they are considered the jewel of the Renaissance of the Spanish cathedrals.

Fernando III de Castilla, llamado "El Santo", conquistó a los musulmanes la ciudad
de Jaén en el año 1246, aquí se ve en el centro rodeado de algunos apóstoles.
La fachada de la catedral es muy rica en figuras y escenas talladas en piedra,
y no me extraña que la consideren la Joya del Renacimiento de las catedrales españolas.
