This shows an unmachined casting, in iron, for the "large-capacity" workhead, and the aluminum version, taking R8 collets, I machined for Gary. I believe Gary is offering the castings for this in either material, and here there are probably fewer objections to the use of the lighter material. Gary offers the castings in both 2" and 2.5" center height, and there is enough material for a spindle taking 5C collets for those preferring that option.
