No, this isn't an engine, but rather a 'cutter-grinder' designed to sharpen anything from a drill to your most fancy end mill, and it was designed to be built in the average home workshop. In addition, you can make specially designed lathe tools. I only show it here because it is sort of an "ultimate" in home shop machining. Many castings are delivered when you buy one of these casting kits, and you will spend many hours machining them. I can count 10 'ball' handles and I think there are a couple I can't see ... those are turned from raw stock, there are no castings, and there is no source to purchase them commercially.
