Benson's Vertical Engine

This model was built by a friend of mine, from castings and drawings which came from Bruce Engineering in the UK. It is called Benson's Vertical Engine, and is a fine Victorian vertical engine from the middle of the 19th century incorporating a forked connecting rod and long piston rod which avoided the use of slide bars and crosshead.

The detail work on the Benson's Vertical is amazing.
It would be very nice if some more detailed pictures were available.
