It's the first day of spring and we've been snow covered since Thanksgiving.
With the snow finally receding Annie is experiencing bare ground here for the first time.
All the new possibilities emerging daily are certainly distracting to a young dog. Not to mention waking bears, porcupines, etc.
Hence we've been keeping her on her dog run at playtime to prevent her from going on a dog run of another sort.
The day will come for her to run free, but today is not that day.
