I usually have to go up in the woods to take a dip in the brook
Today I just had to go down to the bottom of the driveway
It isn't the Delaware and I'm not George Washington
But it is the Fourth of July!
Baldr~
Note from the man: We've had very few dry days since June began and the pattern continues.
Baldr is at the bottom of our 350 foot-long driveway.
Abbott Brook, about 250 feet to the right, runs parallel to the driveway - usually.
After today's downpour the brook exceeded capacity and produced an overflow runnning perpendicular to the driveway.
This has only happened once before, in 2011, during Hurricane Irene.
