Serenity

Despite a spring Nor'easter that dumped 8+ inches of snow, it was business as usual today for Mr & Mrs Wood Duck.
At times the driving snow made it difficult to lock focus on one or the other of them but I managed to grab a few shots during the storm lulls.

I knew it snowed up north but I didn’t realize you got that much! This is a pretty scene.

This has the look of a glass plate photo. It has the beauty of that vintage.

a testing day for the ducks, and for the photographer...focus looks good, especially on Mr. WD...and in fact the snowflakes show well and enrich the image..

Beautiful. I know spring snows rile some, but I like them almost as much as the first snow of the season--just not after it has been a record 80 degrees and all the tender growth and flowers has come out!
