Close Encounter

Today I met a porcupine in the woods
We exchanged greetings, then I went to visit the doctor
He pulled quills from the white side of my nose
The Lady says I have a fat lip
The man says I am expensive

Poor Baldr! I guess that was not a pleasant experience. Those porcupines can be nasty creatures. V

Oh no!! Poor Baldr. That is a close encounter of the prickly kind. One of my dogs, long ago, had a similar encounter and she never went near another porcupine again! Gorgeous photo of a rather subdued looking Baldr. V

Oh, poor Baldr! He looks so wounded, not just from the quills but from the shock of the unfriendly greeting. Great capture of your boy, and hope he's feeling better soon. V.

You poor boy Baldr! I'll bet that hurt. I hope Vickie is right and you have now learned about porcupines. A wonderfully expressive image Kevin and the text is fantastic. V

Oh, poor Baldr, He's safe now. Hope he won't have another meeting with the porcupine any time soon. V

Aw..., poor little Baldr, hoping you feel much better now, it's a hurt look in your eyes, education in action of this experience once only, and you will always know it with caution.
As you know you are worth it, 'expensive' is not a problem, you are the darling boy of this family!

I'm sorry...I had to laugh (just for a second) when I read this. Poor Baldr, the look
on his face is priceless, but I see the Lady is comforting him. Thank you for sharing.

Hr looks so relaxed and safe in your wife's hands after his "trauma".
Excellent image Kevin.

Awwwww....! Good thing you only had quills on your nose. It could've been so much worse.
