This is just one of a multitude of Sandhill Cranes that were seen grazing in farm fields, wading in ponds, and flying above. They were seen all over Bosque Del Apache wildlife preserve south of Socorro, NM. The morning sunrise gives the bird a more golden overall look than its usual gray.
