On CR-13 north of Fort Collins, CO we saw a number of Lark Bunting families on the side of the road and on nearby barbwire fences. I could not believe the coloration of this Lark Bunting with its copper-colored patches of feathers. Must be some kind of pre-molting color change is my guess.
