The Glass egg isn't much bigger than a marble. I placed the egg on black construction paper, and cut a small hole at the base of the egg, then lit it with a LED headlamp from underneath. I held the egg in place (and created a light seal) with some tack putty. (I'm not sure what it's called, but it's used to hang photos on a wall without using tape.) I liked the bubble, so I intentionally turned it so it would show.
