Thanks for the positive feedback on this shot-to give you an idea how I did it, look here:
http://www.pbase.com/slhfoto/inbox (there are also two self-portraits that I took in the hotel's elevator). I kept on trying to get further out the window in an effort to avoid getting the building in the photo...to the point where most of my upper body was out! Luckily I have a nice wife who layed across my legs (they were kinda balanced on the bed by the window as well as the heater radiator under the window) and who managed to snap off a few shots of me! Luckily, heights don't bother me that much!

Nice shot. Those cars are so tiny way down there. If I were "hanging out" of a 14th floor window, I just don't think snapping a pic would be what was on my mind. LOL But glad it was on yours! Thanks for sharing this view.

Nice shot. But I'm one of those that can't look at it too long or I'll get dizzy and sick.

You should put a warning on this for people who have a fear of heights, LOL. Nice shot and perspective.

Wow Stacey! How can you concentrate whilst "hanging out" of a window at that height? Top photo award deserved for bravery ... but great shot too! :)
