After our day in Yosemite we stayed overnight at Oakhurst, outside the south entrance to the national park. We could have returned the next day to Yosemite,
but we felt we had enough pictures there so we were decided on making another tour. The famed 1849 California Gold Rush Country, and its State Highway 49,
begins at Oakhurst, so we made a day-long tour to the prominent gold rush town of Columbia. There are 18 images, taken during 23 June; click on "slideshow".
