We had to make it to Death Valley, even though it's already very hot there in June. We spent the night at the Furnace Creek Ranch motel, 20 June, and we were glad
we had air conditioning. It reached 115 degrees during the two days. We drove around in the air conditioned car and hit the usual tourist stops. There are 45 images here; the "slideshow" option is easy to watch but you'll miss the comments and descriptions, which however aren't really important.
