Sub-roadbed installed for the first deck of the helix. The last section is temporary installed to see if I got it right. I made a foot long board with a 3/16" riser on one side to give me about a 1.5% grade all the way around the helix. Works out to a 3 1/8" gap between sub-roadbeds. The track will be screwed to the sub-roadbed.
