Bought a new DG version of this lens April 2007, using on my (March 2007) Sigma SD14 digital SLR with very satisfactory results.http://www.pbase.com/sandyfleischman

I bought this lens last year and took it on a trip to Florida. Returned it as soon as I returned home. I thought it would make a nice walking around lens but was very disappointed with the results.

i have this lens.on film slr it's ok.on my d50...i don't like the results at all.don't buy this lens for digital.you will see mine on ebay very,very soon! get the 18mm-135mm sigma if you are on a budget.that's much better on digital.good luck.
