The Canon Powershot s410 (Elph) was an update to the s400 model, using the same lens but
with a more reliable focusing assist light. Last year in Italy, I used the s410 for all
normal or wider views as well as for most interior shots, which you can see at
http://www.pbase.com/andrys/italy - and I alternated that with a Rebel XT which was used
only for telephoto shots on the trip. While the s410 has only 4 megapixels, its results
indoors were less grainy than they are with the 7-megapixel camera I'm using now, and the
lens is terrific.
