Just ordered this lens - looking forward to seeing its capabilities. The Sigma 105 it's replacing was a very sharp lens but I still think my 5D2 outresolves it a hair.

I just love this lens; yes - it is bulky, and yes, the AF is not a speed deamon (but then again - who cares about AF in macro?), and yes because of the black finish it heats up in the field... but the sharpness... just amazing; hefty price tag, but worth it - every penny!

This looks like a really sharp lense.
