Nikon D3 & 300mm f4

The following images were taken with a Nikon D3 DSLR fitted with the latest Nikkor 300mm f4 lens. This was not a scientific test, just a few grab images with a friend’s equipment. They were hand held at 25,600 ISO. The exposure was 1/2500 at f25 on a cloudy bright day. The image titles are self explanatory. The cropped areas represent the quality of the image as would be seen in a 63 inches (1.6m) wide print. Click on the images to enlarge them.
