The ASCZ ETO was the orginization resposible for all the non-divisional assets not assigned to a group or an Army. In this case the 165th Signal corps photographic section was attached to ASCZ ETO and wore this insignia. Photographers both still and motion picture accompanied the 2nd Armored during the breakout taking many very compelling images of the War in the Bocage
