Crater Lake National Park, Oregon, USA. At 1949 ft, it is the seventh deepest lake in the world. A 33 mile road circles the lake, whose rim altitude is from 7,000-8000 feet above sea level. Crater Lake is fed solely by falling rain and snow, with no inflow or outflow at the surface, and hence has the clearest water of any lake in the world.
