The Robin Series

In the Spring (2004) a robin pair decided to raise a family on our back porch. Only a few feet from the door, they soon got used to the traffic going back and forth and even ignored me when I barbequed only a foot away. The lighting was terrible, being under the roof and on the north side of the house and I eventually resorted to using the flash in some photos.

the beauty of a patient eye....the last shot is kinda sad...but it would not have had that effect on me without the reinforcement of the previous 29 pictures...
