Two photographs, both roughly the same exposure, and camera moved during exposure. Layered in Photoshop, with different modes and opacity. One layer of poppies is "hyper-sharpened" where the the unsharp mask settings for amount and radius are extremely high. There are channels, hue/saturation and curves adjustment layers, all at various opacities. I just play until it seems right! Below are the two images I used.
