On December 12, 2012, my mother Leatha celebrated her 100th birthday. Coincidentally, December 12 is the last day of the 21st Century where the date/month and year will coincide (12-12-12). A few pics of the occasion follow.

Your Mom is really a special person. I will always remember her riding my horse when she was a 75 years old. Hard to believe that was just 25 years ago!

I wouldn't have known that to be Leatha, she looks just like our grandmother Winfrey, and that was a shock to me. So happy for you Pam that all went well and you could have your loving family with you at this most glory filled occasion. I can't help wondering is there will be a 101 for Leatha. What a glorious time for all at the grand celebration of Leatha's 100th Birthday Party. The yellow/gold is stunning to say the least and what a nice surprise to have a cake for the grandaughter as well. So pleased that Leatha had a extra measure of alertness.
