Hi Carl,
Lovely light and high F15's. On the 2nd they were ploughing the fields on the approach. They must have seen my comment in Fox2 about the stratospheric fly by.
You can always spot me on the hills as I will have Gel my dog with me begging for food.

Cheers,

Rory

Hi Roty
We enjoyed your photographs.
Which Trappe- Tribe did you spring from ?
We actually come from the Trappes from Eboldshausen / Germany dating back to the 1600s.
Paul is a sculptor, I think you found his wegsite. His nephews are all flying enthousiasts.
They live in Germany.
Will continue you Photopages. Check out mine at GS Photography. I mainly do dollages.

Hey Rory,
Glad I managed to have a look: really cracking stuff, carefully composed and metered...sculptural, my man!
My, I used to have a ball tramping around Cader Idris with my old Pentax 67...your work might be inspiring me; my last Wales jaunts have been around Dyfed(but haven't they renamed it...?..) but I might be game on for getting the sleeping-bag in the Rav and blatting round Snowdonia soon at this rate.
Wonderful work.
Shaun

Hi rory, when I was eighteen, 25 yrs ago, I caught the train from London to Bangor, with a couple of mates, we spent eight weeks walking the length of your country, rarely using public roads, and spending the nights in our tents which we carried with us.
It was a trip I will always remember and seeing many of your photos of the Welsh countryside brought back many fond memories.
Thanks for sharing your work.
Seasons greetings, have a great new year.
Regards
Tony.

Your photographs are beautiful -thank you. I was interested in Manod Quarry, have always wanted to go round it to see where the pictures from the National Gallery and the Tate were stored in the war.
Guest 24-Dec-2007 07:41

Thank you for the visit and for the kind words. I am glad you liked the photographs.

I read a lot about the Bwulch already, and it sure is on my "places to visit and photograph" list. I really like your photos!

Keep shooting, keep posting!

Hi Rory,

Thanks for your comments. In Texas, heat is not hard to come by, even in September. I envy you...you've got some vary interesting and beautiful shots from an angle you don't get to shoot from often unless you're airborne.

Hi, Rory,
thanks for looking in on my galleries and your favourable comments on my Paris 1973 images.

Your images from the Mach Loop are just fabulous! It has been my dream for some time to get to that place and I might just do something about it this year. If so, I am going to need some direction in order not to climb the wrong mountain, so I hope you won't find it too intrusive if I contact your e-mail and ask for some assistance?

Thank you for the wonderful photographs. My daughter has moved to Blaenau Ffestiniog from America over a year ago and I have not had the pleasure of visiting in her new home. These photos have given me a sense of why she loves it so much. My grandfather came from Holyhead and she told me moving to Wales was like returning home. Thank you again. I can see why her heart is there.

I enjoyed your pictures of Blaenau Ffestiniog.

I'm just about to start a photographic project on BF, and wondered if you could let me know where the shed was with the old quarry train? I'd love to photograph it myself.

Thanks

You have some wonderful pictures here! They remind me so much of my visit to Wales. Blaenau Ffestiniog was on my list of places to see, but I didn't have near enough time to go to even a quarter of the places I wanted to visit.
Thanks for sharing! Hope to see more of this and other subjects.
