This was a lucky shot. My friend Dave has two cats, Brotus and Memphis. Both cats tend to meet me in the kitchen and the kitchen faces south west. I had my camera out and ready and began snapping pics one day as both cats entered into a narrow beam of late afternoon sunlight streaming through the kitchen window. Memphis, with his golden brown markings and green eyes, is just colorful enough to produce an interesting image with only half of his face exposed.
