Sunday, April 20, 2008. The Dalai Lama was here in Ann Arbor on Saturday and Sunday to give four speeches. These Chinese protesters gathered outside to state their views about Tibet, and to call for the world to leave politics out of the Olympic games. I heard there were many people demonstrating for a "free Tibet" on Saturday, but I wasn't here to see that. When I came on Sunday, I didn't see anyone calling for China to grant Tibet its independance.
