Thanks for your comments. I am updating this gallery with comments on the photos. The red pixel(s) are actually an airplane moving overhead. One of the night exposures was for 2 sec w/o noise reduction. The others are at 4 seconds with noise reduction. I don't see much difference.
All the night shots are manually set to iso-100. I used a tripod. I used the camera shuter release timer because I found that when I pressed the shutter the camera jittered on the tripod and I got jitter in the photos.
Just have had the camera a few days. I really like the ease of use and speed. Also bought the Sony HVL-F1000 flash.
Also have a Nikon CP-990 for 1-1/2 years. Plan to post some of these photos also.

Was this tripod mounted? It looks very crisp and in focus.
A question: Why is there a red pixel in the top right roofline of DSC00057.JPG? (To find, start at the 180-degree fan-type curtain in the upper window, go to the 2 o'clock position and keep going outward to just before the roofline.) I thought it was a "stuck" pixel, but it does not appear in the same position in DSC00061.JPG.
Another question: Are you using the F707's Noise Reduction mode for these two nighttime Christmas light photos? This is enabled on Shutter or Manual shots of 2.5 seconds or greater ("NR" appears in the LCD/EVF next to the shutter speed.) And is your ISO at 100 (least noise) or higher such as 200, 320 or 400?
