A Quiet Place to Live

Nordegg, Alberta is an abandoned coal mining town in the shadows of the Rocky Mountains. It is about 250 km southwest of Edmonton. It has experienced a little rejuvenation because of tourism. So, someone has recovered a part of the old coal mine site and turned it into a small housing development.

A great place for people who want quiet.

It would be nice to see this succeed, but I think it is a bit of a long shot.

Interesting development. (However, given the number of quads running around Nordegg it might not be that quiet.)

It looks like a great place to relax.

Take a running timeline of construction if convenient.

Looks surreal with all the signs and the freshly planted trees. Agree with you that this is a long shot.

What a great way of repurposing the coal mine site! Looks like a nice setting, too. V.
