Another One Bites the Dust

This is the center of Old Strathcona. Seven months ago the space that is now for lease, was one of the busiest Starbucks in Edmonton. Now it is closed along with two other Starbucks and two Second Cups, all within three blocks of each other.

Unfortunately there are also many other businesses that have succumbed to COVID 19.

I'll concentrate on the photo. Rich colors and so much interesting detail. My favorite detail are the two people and the store in front of them. A Good Image, Buz. VVV. I am living in another state and while I have no detail of closing I imagine they have happened.

Fine photo, grim news. I remember this corner as a busy, vibrant part of town with lots of pedestrians on a sunny day. Life under covid is depressing.
