First View

Our first view of the Salmon Glacier. This is the toe of one of the smaller legs.
Despite its small size, it generated considerable anticipated excitement of what was to come.

Great view from this vantage point. Easy to tell from this how much the glacier has receded. "V"

A great view, but looks like it's losing a lot of ice. Such a terrible thing. V.

a startling change here, with glacier receding and the frozen lake apparently reverting to open water..
