Just outside Hyder, the National Park Service has build a tremendous system of decks. You can get a great view of the salmon traveling upstream to spawn. The salmon attract the bears and the decks are a safe place to photograph from. In the morning and then again in the evening, we spent a total of four hours here. But not even a glimpse of Yogi or Boo Boo.
