Roche Ronde a.k.a. "Chief Pocahontas"

The skyline profile of Roche Ronde, near the middle directly above the pine trees, is like that of a person's face titled back. The layers evoke the feathers of a first nation’s headdress. The name Pocahontas comes from the nearby Pocahontas Coalfield. Which was named by the American firm who also mined the big Pocahontas Coalfield in Virginia and West Virginia.
