| The Sweat & Ice Century . . . 100 miles. 40 degrees. Rain . . . Oh. My. God. toughest ride I've ever done in my life--rain early got us wet, then periodically it started again to keep us wet as we froze! I stopped at about mile 90 to have an energy bar and couldn't feel my fingers to get it out of my pocket! I just kept stabbing at my back pockets until I get my hand in there. But I'm glad I did this ride! Another cycling sufferfest sponsored by Outdoor Adventures, Inc.! |
