Long time forum members CNYRider (Eric) and Manet/CSB (Craig) invited forum members to Craig's place near Richfield Springs, a short drive from Cooperstown, at the height of the fall foliage season. I was the only forum member who showed up, but that just means everyone else missed out on one of the most fun and beautiful rides I've ever had!

Led by Craig, Eric, myself, and Eric's local friend David zig-zagged through the hills and hollows on both paved and dirt roads among some of the most beautiful fall foliage you could ever hope to see. In most areas the trees were at peak, and there was simply too much color and sunshine and fresh fall air to take it all in.

After 37 miles of spectacular foliage, steep climbs, and burning quads, we adjourned to Eric's summer camp for noodles, burgers, and warm drinks.
