The Tour of the Battenkill would not happen each year without the efforts of promoter Dieter Drake, a staff of literally hundreds of dedicated volunteers, and supportive Washington County public employees residents who welcome almost 3000 cyclists to ride local roads for two days in April. The event would also not happen without supportive corporate and business sponsors who invest their time and money in an event they believe in. For ten years now, the Tour of the Battenkill has brought cyclists of all backgrounds together for good times and the feeling of accomplishment that comes from successfully conquering the challenging race course.
