My friend Laryl invited me out to see a "Fly ball"demonstration going on at the Yuma Playday. I have never seen a Fly ball game. Boy these dogs move so fast, it was very interesting and fun to watch. Haven't taken many actions photos and was pleased with the results on this one.

Went to a CHamber Mixer tonight at KCFY 88.1 FM Family Friendly Radio. Sheldon Vicks the Program Director was the DJ on the Air. Thanks Sheldon for allowing me to take your photo. Had a wonderful time visiting with allot of people.

Had some rain last night. The weather is finally getting cooler. We took a trip over to the Moody Garden. Found this Queen butterfly on the milkweed. Still working on learning this new camera for macro photos.

Went into the antique store today. Thought of my friend Linda who loves mannequins when I saw this one. Did some work in photoshop to make it look like a old b/w photo.

The weather is starting to cool off. Took a walk down Main Street at lunch time. They have these wonderful planters with flowers. So nice to see the color after the long hot summer.

First day back at work. Worked until 3 and going back to close. We are short staff today. Added two filters to do a save on this photo.

Was a day of unpacking and catching up on some sleep. The cupboard was bare so off to the grocery store. Got this flower while there. Still learning my D200 for macro shots.. so here's mine for today. Loved the color reminded me of fall when the leaves change colors.

Been a long day. Left Cannon Beach and into Portland to catch flight home. Stopped on the way there and took just 3 photos along the side the road. Wanted to get the cloud cover but only place to stop had tree trunks in the way. So my photo for today contains those tree trunks. Had a fabulous vacation and a big thank you to my best friend Alice for taking us to all those wonderful places.. love you Alice.

Cape Meares Lighthouse.. the shortest lighthouse at 38 feet. Will be heading home tomorrow..hope to visit the beach one more time before leaving.

This is looking down at Cannon Beach, OR today while on vacation. I'm very late posting tonite. We went to Cannon Beach and then to Dinner at Mo's.. oh my they have the best clam chowder.

Went to the North Head Lighthouse today. Climbed the 69 steps to the top. This lighthouse was Established in 1898.

Walked down to the beach this morning.. Was a foggy morning,Lots of birds there. Wish this came out better but wanted to share it. Still working on learning this new camera.

My friend Carol has a home on Mission Lake. Allot of frogs around the dock. They make this little cute sound when you walk up to the edge of the water and they all go under the water. Sat down by the water's edge and waited for them to come back out. Sorry for posting two photos in one day ..but no internet access last night.

A Happy girl today..got my new camera a Nikon D200. We spent allot of time today in the camera shop. We went to Ivars tonight for fish & chips.. so good. Heading to Victoria tomorrow.
