My Dad worked for a moving company for many years. People use to put stuff in storage and never return for their things. My Dad called it dead storage.. he bought home this toy sewing machine for me one day when I was little. I use to let my daughter play with until I saw one in a antique store- up on the shelf it went. It did stitch a pretty nice chain stitch on fabric.
