Bombycilla cedrorum
Cedar Waxwings with orange rather than yellow tail-tips began appearing in the NE United States and SE Canada in the 1960s. The orange color is the result of pigment in the berries of introduced Eurasian honeysuckles, eaten by waxwings while their tail feathers are growing.
