Multicolored Asian Lady Beetle

Family Coccinellidae (Ladybird Beetles)

Species axyridis (Multicolored Asian Lady Beetle)

Although these ladybugs may not look alike, they are just different color morphs of the same species. They were introduced into the US to help control aphid populations and are now the most abundant ladybug here, to the detriment of many native species.
