Blue-winged Warbler

Central Park, NYC

Vermivora cyanoptera

After nearly two weeks of north winds, over 100 different bird species, including this male Blue-winged Warbler, were seen in Central Park today! Females are similar but slightly duller.

Fabulous image. We've not found ourselves in the right part of the country for blue-winged warblers yet. You have some amazing wildlife to go after. Congrats on what must have been a number of great experiences and certainly is a very nice gallery!
