One of my very favorite pictures of my most precious person—thanks, Barbara, for capturing her twinkle of happiness forever!

Our garden was on tour as part of the 2008 Azalea Society convention in Asheville NC. Although Deni could no longer walk our visitors through the garden, she was delighted to be able to greet them them on our back deck, and, as most of them were long-time gardening friends, they were equally delighted to greet her. It was a good day!
